yeah TSN blocks us out. I remember watching the TSN draft stream two or three years ago, but since then, they have stopped streaming outside of NA. It's really disappointing because f.e. I was able to watch the Sportsnet stream at the deadline, so I don't know why TSN has that bull#### strategy. Oh well ...
The weakest part of Nastaskiuk’s game is his skating. There really is no doubt about it. It is his below average skating that will need to be improved if he wants to be more than just a grinder at the NHL level.
In addition to the golden rule "Never draft a goalie in the first round" there should be IMHO another carved in stone: "Never draft a skater with serious skating issues in the first round".
The last thing this organization needs is another Nemisz or Kolanos. I may be wrong though.

I'm pretty sure Commandant is now listing players that are ranked around the mid-second to third round now. The give away is "2013 NHL Draft Player Profile #55".
It sounds like the move to RW really has helped his game a lot and with his "athletic family background" I wouldn't be surprised if he could fix his footspeed. Could be a nice pickup for the Flames if he drops to the third round.

I think what annoys me more is that if there was a local TV channel who had the rights to show the draft I could understand the need to block it out but there isn't.

If it was me, I would move all the players that have serious skating issues right to the bottom of the list and only draft one of those guys if the rest of their game is rated highly, but they're for some reason available in the 6th or 7th round.
Slow players, or even slightly below average skaters have a hard time sticking in the NHL unless they are exceptional in some way. It's a waste of a pick most of the time.

The best scouting report was on Luc Robitaille where the scout said the Luc as fast as a zamboni. You are right though, even if the hockey sense is through the roof, they may still be a long shot.

I saw Nastasiuk ranked #13 on the North American Skaters list:

Call me crazy, but I think Jones is gonna fall down the rankings in the draft. Here is what I can see happening for the top 5 :
1) Colorado- MaKinnon (Too good of a foward and possible franchise player)
2) Florida- Drouin (Also is too good of a foward and needs scoring fowards)
3) Tampa Bay- Nichushkin (One of the teams to have serious interest as with Nashville)
4) Nashville- Barkov (If Nichushkin is gone- they need scoring and got Weber)
5) Carolina- Jones (They get their franchise D-man)
Edit- My reasoning is this. Colorado should take Jones. They need a Franchise D-man but MacKinnon may be too good to pass up on and the other 4 teams under Colorado are semi-set on D and have more or a need for scoring. Florida has Gudbransson, Tampa has Hedman, Nash has Weber, and Carolina is weak in the #1 D spot. Just a thought.
