Glad I didn't spring for a Iginla Penguins Jersey. His time in Pittsburgh will be done shortly.

So the Pens need to get Mike Richards to blow up Krejci, knocking him out of the playoffs, and turning the tide of the series.
Seems plausable.

That's what scares me! The Pens are quite capable of coming back and winning the series. Bruins have to keep playing like the have and hope Rask continues his stellar play.

Yah, considering your hate on for Iginla during the trade deadline threads (heck I lost count after the tenth time you said he was too slow for the Pens to even consider trading for him), I'm sure you thought long and hard about springing for an Iginla Pens jersey.

MAF is going to be bought out which will leave some cap space for Iginla.

The way the Bruins are playing, this series is over on Friday.
IF the Penguins win on Friday, then the series will go six, and the Bruins will win in 6. I just don't see the Penguins winning four in a row over Boston.

I highly doubt the Pens will be looking to bring Iginla back unless he's willing to take a discount. Surely they will want to find another goalie to at least split time with Fleury. Maybe even they'll look at Luongo as an option... who knows.

i guess so. i felt the play went to his stick to die. thought he turned it over, fumbled it, and was slow. really wanted him to succeed and perhaps that why my opinion is so critical, but i just thought he was off.

Whoever the guy is on the NHL.com post game show right now is just making mistake after mistake, I'm kind of hoping for a Roger Millions type slip up here.

Somebody will take the chance on MAF in a trade.
The term is short enough that its not an anchor. If I was NJ I would be all over it. Fleury has the talent but needs some help on the mental side of the game. Who better to learn from for a season than Martin Brodeur.
Could also see Feaster having interest.

Better hope he keeps getting goalpost luck. Rask has been very good, but damn he was lucky this game.
Anyway, no way the Pens are coming back, they might win a game to make things interesting but that's about it. Pittsburgh has some serious issues that won't magically go away for 4 games. Even in winning their 1st two series, you could see that something was off about the team.
You're saying this to be cautiously optimistic, it's over Boston is heading to the Cup final.

You're right. I will re-phrase then, 1 of only 3 teams in history to blow a 3-0 series lead. ('42 Red Wings, '75 Penguins and the '10 Bruins)
Not that I think it will happen but it has happened recently and that it just happens to be a team that let it happen is in the same position again.
They cannot let the Pen's win one game and give them one shred of hope.

Actually, I was thinking that Iginla would sign in Boston for 1 year on the cheap. Ironically, also a la Hossa.
That said, I dont think Boston are going to make him an offer. Not after his performance in this series.

Odd.

I find it odd that you don't understand that some have loyalty to the team and not to any player in particular. Iginla is gone and many have moved on. Yet somehow that's twisted to say people have turned against Iginla. A closed mnd is a terrible thing to waste.

Will over talent ? Pens have the talent but not the will to do what it takes to win in a tough series. Puck management and team defence has been abysmal, which is why they have scored 3 goals in 3 games and allowed 12.
Too many weak sisters.

Bruins had the Leafs dead and buried but let them take it to game 7. Anything is possible with these Bruins.
