I actually think this is more a case of Boston neutralizing the Pens-- becoming more clear that they are the class of the East. The Pens might get one or two in the series, but its men against boys.

Credit to Boston, but Pittsburgh barely showed up for the 1st two games. If the Pens had started the series playing like they are now the would have probably won at least a game.
