Keith deserves one game or a fine for being so reckless, but that was a d-bag move by Carter: intentionally slashing at a bare hand (then selling the high stick for all its worth).

True, but sometimes actions don't require further discipline then already imposed. He did get a double minor penalty, which is meant to encourage what you said.
I don't like how the NHL uses injuries to determine suspensions here, but in this case I think it would be appropriate. Ultimately no moderate injury occurred and he served four minutes in the box. I think enough punishment has been served.

I don't know if Carter was going for the hand as much as he was trying to knock the glove away. Either way, dbag move. If Keith had been kicked out if say that was good. Since he wasn't I think a 1 game would suffice.

I would give them both a game.
Slashing a player in the hand when you know he is not wearing his glove is just as bad and had way more intent then Keith in my opinion.
Keith's was reckless but don't think their was any malicious intent there.

Have confirmed that Duncan Keith will have a hearing today for his high stick on Jeff Carter. Hearing will be later today.

I'm not so sure he sold it now that further information has come out.
Dan Rosen @drosennhl
Jeff Carter said Duncan Keith's high stick to his face resulted in 20 stitches, a chipped tooth and cracks in a few others.

Was he really apologizing, though? From the replays, all I see is Keith muttering something to Carter. Maybe he was saying politely saying that it was justified. Or maybe Keith was just trying to make it look like he was going to apologize in order to avoid punishment. While Keith's actions certainly looked intentional, Carter's actions are probably what provoked Keith to do what he did. Keith's a star and a great player, but for some reason I just don't see him truly feeling guilty about what he did, especially if you consider the fact that Carter took the initial opportunity to slash Keith's wrist.

Darryl's comment on Carter was hilarious.
"how's Jeff Carter doing today?"
"hes great. I wish I was Jeff Carter today. "

OK...Game 4...Slot Brookbank in to the 'Hawk D for Keith.
I expect the pairings to be
Seabs/Leddy
Hjammer/Oduya
Brookbank/Rozival (very limited minutes)

Voynov has to be considered one favorite for the Conn Smythe as well. He's been as good if not a bit better than Krecji these playoffs.
