I would take Sequin 10 time out of 10 before I took Hall, I said it on draft day that drafting Hallover the TS was possibly one of the dumbest moves that Lowe made
I disagree, this is some very entertaining hockey for Bruins fans
I'm more a less a neutral observer in this one, and I wanted to see some knock down drag out high caliber hockey. Not this crap, but for Bruins fans yea it must be sweet.
He's only $300K more than Fleury. If they moved Vokoun they could probably get away spending less on goaltending than they already do.
Doubt it'll happen, but I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand.
It would probably cost them Malkin though. I don't know how you could have Crosby, Malkin, and Luongo making taking up 1/3 of the team's salary through the end of the decade.
I know it's a tad premature and we are talking about the Bruins who have actually lost 4 in a row when having a 3-0 lead in a series, but this one is done like dinner.
Taking the first two on the road is a massive accomplishment against this stacked Pens team.
is anyone else hoping to see iggy go into beast mode, get into a fight, and score a gordie howe hatrick soon?
I'd love to see it, but Bylsma wasn't happy about the fight in the first game and I'm guessing that the Penguins are under strict orders to not drop the gloves. It's a shame, because that's the type of thing that needs to happen early in the 2nd period to change the momentum.
Pens appear to be a one dimensional team, when they are not rolling offensively, they can't win. They need to be able to play any type of game, high scoring, win 1-0, be physical, shut the other team down, get out played and rely on goaltending.
It would probably cost them Malkin though. I don't know how you could have Crosby, Malkin, and Luongo making taking up 1/3 of the team's salary through the end of the decade.
Fleury's salary is 5m
it's a complete waste of Crosby/Malkin to have them go through the next 5 years without a top 10 goalie
