That is as close to an even deal as you will find in the league. basically trade down a round+ to move up two spots to get Barkov.
I'm down.

Is that a trade they couldn't refuse though? I think they want scoring instead of shuffled draft picks and a later NHL ready player.

Those charts are just a starting point and a other factors can heavily override them:
- valuation of individual prospects in the range of the pick (ie: big drop-off in talent vs no drop-off)
- organizational need for player type, position, and timing of contribution

Its a trade that is much more likely than trading our mediocre vets and a late 1st for their top 4 pick.
If they are trading a top 4 pick they are going to want quality back not a bunch of late picks and a 2nd line player over 30.

Probably already mentioned amongst these 200 pages but seems Dale Tallon open to trading #2:

If that's the case, and given Feaster's comments... you better believe the Flames would be interested. Unlike other teams, they can give a great draft pick back in return (the #6), and whatever else you'd have to negotiate in there.

How about :
Cammy and #30 for #14 (Columbus)
#14 and #22 for #4 (Nashville)
#4 and #6 for #2 and #31 (Florida)
...providing the Avs do indeed take Jones, because if they took MacKinnon I'd rather just keep #4 and #6 and take Barkov and Lindholm/Monahan.
haha

Supposedly the Sabres are being aggressive in trying to move up as well. We aren't the only team able/willing to potentially move up.

Even with MacKinnon on the table it would be wise to hold on to 4 and 6 if we could somehow come away with both picks. Barkov and Monahan would be sick moving forward. Who knows maybe we could even get Drouin if Tampa goes Russian

If rather take #4 and #6 than #2 and #31.
Barkov + Monahan/Lindholm >>>>>>>>>> MacKinnon + whoever (still a decent prospect).

If Feaster was able to somehow convert Cammellari, the #6 and #22 picks to the #2 and #4 picks (the 30th and 31st pick are basically a wash), I have no problems in saying I'll develop a serious man crush on his GM'ing skills, and forgive him for all the blunders he's made so far.

In this scenario he only has the #2 pick. Not #4

Yah, if you consider the Pitts 1st and FLA 2nd a wash, then it would be...
Cammy, #22, #6 for #2

Columbus might do it
Nashville passes in a big way. (adding Backlund might get them thinking)
Florida probably does it.
One things for sure, if Colorado picks Jones Feaster will be busy working the phones.

Whoops, misread that. I guess it's Cammy, the 22nd, and 30th for the 4th. That's still a steal of a deal, and if Feaster can pull that off, he'd be a God in my eyes. Can you imagine Barkov/Drouin AND Lindholm/Monahan?

Yikes, can you tell it's nearing the end of the workday for me?
Hmm, so third's a charm, lets hope I got this right.
If he keeps the 4th and the 6th, then it's Cammy + 22nd + 30th for the 4th? I'd still do it.
