Elias Lindholm was among the best in Push and Pull Strength? Pretty impressive.

Didn't notice till now that Myles Bell was at this years draft combine... Would you pick him if he got to the Flames 3rd round pick?

At close to 20 years old, he would probably make the NHL team faster than a lot of the prospects at this years draft. 6' 214lbs converted from D to winger. 93pts in 69 games this year in the WHL

However it may be better off for him to go to a smaller hockey market considering his past.

So what happened to the kid? Why is he in this draft at 20 years old?

Was projected to go in the 1st round the year of that crash. Has been passed over at the draft twice since then presumably due to issues related to the crash.

He didn't seem to miss any time or do any time, played 54 games in 11-12, is it still in court or did he get a slap on the wrist, summer jail?

Not sure, hard to find any information on his legal situation after he got charged with impaired driving causing death and bodily harm.

Just stay away from Myles Bell.

Has a huge shot but doesn't make smart plays, gets tunnel vision and doesn't use his size enough. Lacks intensity at times and can lose interest now and then rendering him a liability. Good PP weapon but when the going gets tough 5 on 5 he isn't going to step up.

Ryan Pulock tested out well. His name pops up frequently in the top testing.

That's because he's physically way more mature than most his age. An early developer.

Nick Petrecki tested extremely well at the combine in 2007 as well.

I personally don't want the Flames to draft the kid but couldn't ignore that he looks to be fit and strong.

He's a freak of nature physically, great shot,QB's the PP and skates well, if he is on the board for the Pitt pick I would be mad if he not taken.

We would be lucky to get him at 22.

Im also fairly certain they do it to a metronome as well. If you cant keep pace your out. I think it was 25 beats per minute. Its super hard.

So i caught like a minute of this stuff the other day and heard button say something like " flames would like monahan but get a nice consolation prize in lindholm". Typical mock draft babbling but coming from a guy who i think predicted jankowski in a mock i listen close when he talks about the flames. May have been talked about here already.

I think you can apply to get permission to travel to the States.

I know a buddy that had been convicted of something (not this bad) that didn't allow him to travel to the states but he applied for permission and is able to go now.

Not sure what the specifics would be in this case but Mac T seems to have no problem travelling between the countries.

Well he got a Canadian pardon this year and is now trying to get an American border crossing card because his name still comes up.

Mac T because of the years probably hasn't had a problem plus it happened in the states and paid his dues...but post 9-11 changed everything.

Sorry but with a month of practice I could easily do more than 50. I honestly don't understand the 'strength' part of the fitness testing at the NHL combine.

Plus, after looking at the players being tested, holy crap are some of them skinny. Seth Jones looks like the skinny 16 year teenager in high school that everyone picked on.

I don't understand why it is so hard for them to be a lot stronger and bigger by the time they turn 18. Put some weight on the squat rack and get squatting. There is no rocket science behind bulking up.

This is another situation where the draft combine becomes important. Pulock was on my radar before the combine, but now I really hope Calgary finds a way to draft him. Morin and Rychel also seemed to have very strong performances.
