I think it's Pittsburgh to lose, as much as it pains me to say it.

LA is so resilient though. They seem to raise their level to their competition. Plus Quick has been just unreal in big games. Quite often, it all comes down to the better goalie.

Not that Chicago and Boston don't stand a chance though. These are 4 very even teams IMO. From a character point of view, I like the Kings, but I think Pittsburgh has the skill advantage.

I would love to watch a Chicago/Pittsburgh final, so that's how I am hoping it shakes out. I will be fine watching any combination though as these teams are all unreal.

I think I will come down to goaltending, and out of the teams remaining the advantage is to LA, slightly ahead of Boston. As much as I'd like to see Iginla win a cup, I think we see a LA Boston final.

While DET was alive last night, we had the last 5 Cup winners remaining.

Great Final Four - the four best teams.

I don't know how any neutral person can be a fan of LA. So many creeps on that team.

I don't think this needs a new thread but thought it would be fun to do. Of the 4 remaining teams, what is your order of wanting them to win?
1. Pittsburgh
2. LA
3. Chicago

Would hate it if Boston won and fine with any of the above 3 winning it.

I think these 4 have the best combo of elite talent and depth.in all the arguments of 3 picks vs. MacKinnon it seems really both are needed to win.

All 4 also rely on lower drafted guys to be key parts which involves some luck as well.

Finally the 4th line on each team can okay against any line in the NHL without being totally screwed which helps big time and wouldn't be the case with Jackman-Begin-McGratton.
You don't win a best of 7 series with luck

Don't think anyone said that you do.

But that doesn't mean that luck can't come into play and be a factor.

I maybe the minority here, but IMO the Los Angeles Kings are clearly the best of the four teams.

My $0.02.

Anybody but Pittsburgh. If I had to rank them I would go with this order:

1.) LA
2.) Boston
3.) Chicago

I don't care who wins but I would love to watch a Pens vs Hawks final. Talk about high scoring and highly entertaining games!

High scoring does not equal entertaining. Nothing is worse than watching two teams that can't defend worth s*** try to outscore each other. Not saying that series would be like that, but just look at Pitt vs. Philly last season and you'll see what I mean.

Pittsburgh - 2009

So, what separates these teams from the rest of the pack? Drafting, management, coaching, luck?

I just think it shows how well these teams are put together, in a cap era.

Its too bad that Pittsburgh didn't beat Vancouver on its way to the cup...

It would have been a cool quad fecta...

Yeah, I guess it's the second time it has happened. First time with more than 6 teams in the league though. Kind of surprised it didn't happen more often when there were only 6.........

Which of those 4 teams would you rather the Flames build their team like?

The easy answer for me would be the Penguins, but nearly impossible to duplicate, with the way they ended up with Malkin and Crosby. Thoughts?
