			Its 2006 we are not primitive animals anymore. There is no good reason to eat the placenta. We are not cavemen fighting for survival that need every ounce of nutrition to live.

			A friend of mine ate her placenta after giving birth.  She made spaghetti sauce out of it.
 But it was her own.  The mother is the only one who should eat it, at least in nature.
