Just as I was driving up to take a picture of the 747 take off, this helicopter was landing. I have no idea the model, but figured it was something we dont see very often here in Calgary.

I cropped in on one of my other pictures, its not as sharp, but could make out a number on the front. A google search came up with this website http://www.helis.com/database/model/16/, says its American...if the site is accurate.

I saw a about 5 american soldiers in a car yesterday on 12 between 32nd and mckight so they must of rolled in on that baby - saw them about 30 minutes after the 747 left
Went to the Museum of Flight in Seattle, followed by a tour of the Boeing facility to look at the 747, 767, 777 and 787 production lines.
Apparently they can piece together a 787 in 3 days, while a 747 takes 3 months. Not a single rivet in the 787, whilst the 747 comprises upwards of 3 million rivots. It was a fantastic tour and they have an absolutely gigantic building housing the aircraft construction (over 1km long when you look from end to end). We even got to see a 777 take off for a test flight out of Boeing field.
I have some pictures of the 707 air force one, 747-1 and even the concorde (only 1 of 4 outside of europe). Will upload these pictures and add to the thread in a little while.
Managed to pick up some Boeing swag including a few shirts, posters and a landyard. What a terrific facility.
