Wow, the delay on CBC is huge! I was reading this and Seabrook hadn't even picked up the puck yet.

Chicago/Los Angeles. What a series that will be!

They played the first day of the season too, and I for one am not surprised they will be meeting again now.

Nice hit that led to the goal...

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

How can an NHL goalie let that in in game 7 overtime?

Probably not. But the storyline of "Hawks overcome horrid officiating" is far better for the NHL than "Detroit wins because of horrid officiating".

Hawks win 3 straight, impressive stuff. Gotta wonder how much LA or Chicago will have left it the tank when they get to the Cup final.

CBC replay shows (or let's us hear) that the whistle went before Hjalmarsson even shot.
Not even close. He was hit, pushed into the bench, then thrown to the ice. No ifs ands or buts.

It's all moot now anyways, Karma strikes.

Yeah. Kipper stood on his head all series making incredible save after incredible save and then a harmless looking shot from the top of the circle beats him. That's just the way it goes sometimes.

Wicked deflection off the back of Kronwall's skate.

Bad deflection (and screen) off Kronwall, that's how.

No chance whatsoever (as Hrudey just said).
