Damn, I grew up about two blocks away from that house....always weird seeing things like that in ones old hood.

Not for the victim, unless he's a minor, I believe. I could be wrong though. But in the paper you often see "police have not released the name, but friends/neighbors have indentified him as...:.

I live 500 feet from there, not doing a bit, I really do live right there. This is supposed to be the nice NE, on the west side of Deerfoot.

I lived on the block until a few months ago. We had someone try to get into our house a few months before that. My wife no longer felt safe in the area so we moved up our plans to move. Looks like a good call
