I agree completely. He shoots harder back handed than any other player that I have seen.

Such a quick shot too, goalies get beat by Crosby backhanders all the time. I want to know how many back hand goals Crosby has scored. I bet hes netted a good chunk that way.

Nothing to do with you and everything to do with the stupidity of the OP in the Iggy vs Alfie thread.

Samiz posted this in the Iggy vs Alfie thread, but for the sake of anyone who is avoiding that moronic argument, I thought it should be posted here too.

Erin Nicks ‏@erinnicks 8m Alfie when asked if they can come back. "Probably not. They have too much depth." #Sens
I'd be shocked if this series lasts beyond tomorrow. I was at the elimination game in the first series, so I might as well keep it going. I'll be rocking my Iggy Flames jersey in Pittsburgh tomorrow night.

Not surprised by Alfie's comment. You could just tell how deflated the Sens became after the Pens scored those three goals in the third and Anderson got pulled. No pushback. They completely gave up on the game and weren't engaged in any of the plays.

Curious, what kind of response do you get from the fans when you wear that in their arena?

And ya that is the series, as soon as Anderson was chased it's like watching the wall of a castle come crumbling down, everyone feels exposed and are prostating themselves over the barrell for the invading army.

I'm curious to find out what the reaction will be like in Pittsburgh. This will be my third Penguins game in the jersey since the trade, but the first two were on the road. In Florida a few weeks after the trade, there were several other Iginla jerseys and all of the Penguins fans were really friendly towards us. On Long Island, I didn't run into any Pens fans, but the reaction from Islanders fans was mixed. I got mostly good natured ribbing from them, but almost all of them admitted that they'd liked Iginla before he was a Penguin.

I just realized that the red will make me look like a Sens fan tonight, so I may need to buy a Penguins hat to make sure that my allegiance is clear. Plus that will give me something to throw when Iginla gets a hat trick.

I don't see why kicking the puck into the net is not allowed.

I mean, if these guys are coordinated enough to kick a puck into the net... by all means.

Healy is a knob. Asks how Iginla couldn't score there....

Because the puck was way in behind him, doofus.
