They have bored me to tears too often already this season. Zero chance on a holiday that I even check out if they are playing. Good on Dickey though for waking up lately.

Ya nice to see the bounce back after a disappointing showing in New York - would be nice if the Jays could take 2 of 3 here, and even nicer with a clean sweep... Cobb has been lights out the last little while, amassing huge strike out numbers - be interesting to see how the free swinging Jays handle him tonight.

Their approach at the plate was completely different yesterday than it was in NY - Odorizzi was at 70 pitches through 4 innings or something awesome like that.

Yeah, it was a whole different team in NY for some reason - take out those two games and the team is showing some pretty good promise with solid at-bats and good approaches up and down the line-up.

Still need a little work on defense though - not having an everyday SS and 2B is killing the infield chemistry, IMO.

I'd say there was something on TV he wanted to watch or maybe he just needed to take a leak badly. None of the 3 pitches were strikes.

Joey Bats 4 for 4 and a walk. I guess he was seeing the ball well today. Good to see him picking it up. Seems to be when Joey is hot EE is cold and vice versa. It would be nice to see those two pick up some steam together.

Ya never know but if the ump hadn't jobbed them they might have pulled off a sweep. Still a series win over the Rays is a small miracle in and of itself.
