I'm interested to hear if they go the route of subsidized systems with Live. Several rumours that the cost could be quite low if you lock into a Live subscription. People are already quite used to paying $250 for a $650 phone without much of a care, so this could work out great for them.
I've preferred Sony games for the past 13 years, so it's incredibly unlikely I'll buy anything but a PS4, but as a game fan I love these days.

Microsoft has shown repeatedly over the last 3-4 years they care far more about multimedia aspects and Kinect than actual gaming. I would be shocked if this reveal showed a different attitude.
And you will still be getting ripped off for Xbox Live, I can guarantee that.

I know it's an odd thing to hope for, but I want to see some games today.

While true, I'd still look at the overall sales figures and conclude that Sony lost a considerable number of customers this generation. I think the initial price of the PS3 really drove people away from the system early on.

Just watching the livestream on Gametrailers. If they announced a new Killer Instict I'd go out and pre-order today.

Why? Rare is a shell of the company they used to be. They haven't made a relevant in over a decade and any of the talent there responsible for their brilliance in the 90's has long since moved on. It's pretty clear that Nintendo made Rare what they were. I wouldn't be excited for anything coming from them at this point.

Who says Rare has to be the ones making it?

			Xbox One?
The console is huge though, simple design but looks massive.

Looks like it's called Xbox One. They actually showed the thing which is nice. New controller looks great.

I like the name but like the HTC One it could make marketing difficult.

It's nice that they fixed the D pad on the controller.
