Man as much as I wanna see Iggy raise the cup I can't help but pull for Ottawa in this series. Pittsburgh is Bettman's lap dog and I'm a sucker for the underdog.

Also, I know it's semantics, but I hate when a player hits a post and the announcer says "he beat the goalie, but not the post". If you don't score, you didn't beat the goalie. If the puck misses the net by 3 inches, you don't hear them say "he beat the goalie, but missed the net".
Actually, you do hear the announcers say he beat the goalie, but missed the net. It happens all the time when a player puts the puck through the goalie 5 hole but it just goes wide of the net.

I want to see both Alfie and Iggy win the cup

I haven't watched a minute of this series yet, but I'm glad to see the Sens hopefully make a series out of this

The more I watch the Pens play the bigger a fan of Crosby I become. I sometimes feel when watching this team that there are too many super-star passengers but Crosby is just unbelievably good. It's such a treat to watch someone play who just thinks the game better than anyone else out on the ice. In that sense there is an upside to this loss in that it's at least one more game to watch.

Am I the only one that feels a strong desire to fling an angry bird at Tyler Kennedy every time I see him?

I always think of the episode of Seinfeld with pigman, but either way, he's lucky to be a professional athlete.

That pic of Sutter looking like the yellow angry bird would make a neat gif

Man, reading Pens forums after a loss or even a win is kinda funny. They have one of the best teams in the NHL and you'd think they have been watching the Oilers for a number of years.

I thought CP was doom and gloom. It's not just a few posters, it's the majority of them. Kind of pathetic how they take having such a good team for granted.

I'd imagine a lot of Penguin fans, especially the majority that post online, didn't watch the Penguins pre-Crosby.

You're right, they have no Idea how lucky they are.

Nice one.

So it bothers me that the best player to play for the Flames has become a playoff rental. Sad.

You're blaming Iginla for that?

"You know what Iggy, you can stay here in Flames and not get past the regular season for lets say 5 years from now, or you can go to Penguins and be on the Stanley Cup finals and probably will lift the cup this season."

What's your decision?!

Not sure if this was already posted in here or not, but really Healy? Datsyuk lacks god given talent?

edit: wrong series thread, but this still ties in to all the Iginla beaks.

How dare they lose a playoff game in OT 1111!!! We deserve to win every game 8-0!!!!!

I find myself disliking the Penguins for the same reason brought up by puckluck. What self entitled whiney little children. They have a team that can compete for a Stanley Cup every year and actually won not too long ago, and they're acting like it's a dry spell. This is what happens when a team has no fans and then wins a god damn lottery. Is that option available to us?! What was I saying...?
