Replacement laptop battery

Where is a good place to buy replacement laptop batteries? We have a fairly old laptop that we use mainly to take on holidays. It's a great laptop despite its age but the previous owner had it plugged in all the time so when on battery power, it's good for maybe 20 mins before it's dead.

Amazon.ca has a boatload of laptop batteries. Whether or not they are well priced is dependant on what kind you are buying.

I've ordered from batteryshopcanada.ca, laptopcharge.com, intelligentbatteries.com before with no problems. A lot cheaper than going with OEM parts.

I could use a new battery for my laptop too. Is there certain batteries for certain laptops or does any batteries work for any laptop?

Laptop batteries are made to fit a particular model of laptop, unfortunately. Sometimes there are are two or three different models per laptop with different runtime capacities.
