Was looking forward to watching the Hawks, my old man's favourite team with him Saturday night when I'm visiting. with the game being on at 1:00 pm not sure that'll be happening. Oh well.

Does anyone know when they'll decide on game time for Game 5??

We're heading to Chicago for a hockey tourney that weekend and we took a chance and grabbed tickets to Game 5 today.

Assume it will be noon local time, just like my game 2. NBC is going to be all over a Chicago-Detroit game, and it will be timed how they want it.

You my friend are a GENIUS!!! I didn't notice the EST vs. CST time change. Our games are at 10am and 330pm...either way we are freaking GOLDEN!!!!

It's too bad CBC's talent has taken a nosedive, because their overall production of hockey as an event is still the best.

Blackhawk domination. This series will be over very quickly.

3-1 Hawks. Detroit is never going to rope-a-dope their way to a series win against Chicago.

Wings played tough in the 1st...Howard was stellar in the 2nd especially, and solid throughout...But the Wings seemed to run outta gas in the 3rd. They have been outscored badly in 3rd periods in their 8 playoff games so far...Babcock is riding his horses hard, and the 'Hawk Depth can't be matched, it seems, by this version of the Wings.

Good home win for my guys to start the series.

Stalberg seems to be in Q's doghouse over complaining about PP time...was a healthy scratch tonight.

I said the same thing in the Rangers-Bruins thread, this is going to be another terrific series between these forever rivals.

Fans of all ages from both teams will be watching this series intensely, especially those that are in their golden years. Those who have passed on will be coming out of their graves to watch this. It is too bad that these two teams will not be in the same division next season. The fans in both cities are not happy about having these two teams in different conferences. They will only play each other twice per season and only in the final round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Smith got victimized at his offensive blueline...Sharp with a stick lift to trigger a 3 on 1...Kane gets the finish...1-0 in game 2

Chicago just looks like they have an entire other gear than the Wings...reminiscent of the Flames/Wings series of 2007, only the Wings are playing the Flames part in this one.
