Only reason they were on the ice was because of interference by Vanriemsdyk.

Pretty brutal elbow, how is that not a penalty.

Haha, wow. The officiating is a joke. Refs let the blatant elbow go, but call a chincy tripping call? I'm not a Leafs fan by any means, but that's horsecrap.

Yeah, so?

Sure that's probably a penalty too, but I was talking about the dirty elbow. I know you're not suggesting because he was interfered with he should be elbowed like that, right?

Go Leafs(saying that makes me feel gross)
That last call on the Leafs was what I would expect to be called in a normal game, but based on what the refs have been calling (or not calling) so far, it's a pretty weak call.

If the Leafs and Rangers make it out of this round Pittsburgh making it to the finals is all but a sure thing. All the division winners as well as Boston will be gone. So in a way that'll hurt the Flames other pick when the Pens have an easier time making it to the finals.
Here's hoping whoever makes it out of the West can beat the Penguins though, but they should have a much tougher road there.

Who knows, the Pens seemed to struggle against a team that put in effort.

Agreed. My dislike of the Leafs is nowhere near the intense hatred I have for a team like the Canucks. Leafs are a young hard working team, and they're fun to watch. The Toronto media is way more annoying than the team or their fans.

It's not pro-Leafs so much as it is anti-Bruins. I don't know which is worse between their diving, whining players and their "USA! USA! USA!" fans. I lived in Boston a few years ago and would go to at least a dozen games each year for no purpose other than to root against them. They really are Canucks East.

Lundqvist or Anderson will have to stand on their head to make that happen. The Leafs are just awful, and would probably get swept facing each other.

After pushing their series against the Bruins to seven games, and going into the third period of game seven with the lead, the Leafs still don't get much respect.

The Leafs awfuled themselves to a lead in game 7 against the Bruins and didn't exactly get dominated by the Pens in the regular season.
