If they are going to rig it why not rig it for a team that Crosby going to would actually help the league? i.e. NYR or Toronto.
A team with the highest chance to win the lottery winning when their are teams that it made more sense to send the guy to hardly seems like a likely rigging situation and more like a likely outcome of the draft lottery.

I was hoping the Isles could knock the Pens out in the first round to improve the Blues' pick, since they got past the first round, I'm rooting them to go all the way.

OTT beating PIT would improve both the STL pick (1 spot) and the PIT pick (1-4 spots). So if you want to maximize draft position it still makes sense to cheer against the Penguins.

So here is the million dollar question, who starts in goal for Pittsburgh? Fleury was bad but has led them to a Cup and is their number 1 all year but Vokoun looked better in the PO's. I think for game 1 you have to go back to MAF and see if you can get him going.

Vokoun. They can't afford to spot the other team 2 games before benching Fleury again.

Oh I didn't think that far, the reason I'm rooting for the Pens is the Iginla factor and not a fan of the Sens. I actually like Boston more, really hoping they take out the Leafs tonight.

But can Vokoun take them all the way and does he have the endurance to do it? Do you really give up on your 5.5M goalie who has won a cup already?

I know what you're saying but Fleury was so bad in those games. If they didn't have Vokoun to fall back on they probably would have lost that series. Even the Pens have trouble winning when they give up 6 goals against.
Vokoun is rocking a 1.41 GAA and .957 SVPT, Fleury is 3.4 GAA and .891 SVPT. I'd leave my wagon hitched to Vokoun until the wheels start getting loose.

Have they announced which channel will be carrying this? TSN or CBC? I hope it's TSN.
I keep on checking the CBC's, TSN's, Pen's, NHL's and Sen's website. Still can't find anything.

I'd agree with this. Fleury did win a cup, but he also has on his resume last year's series against Philly and the two games this first series where he gifted the Islanders goals. So many goals from behind the net, including the ones that he put in. Every time I see these, I remember him diving back with those bright yellow pads on the Junior team as the puck went in. Just too many examples of being error prone in clutch situations.

Well my question might be geared toward my playoff pool and I really want to pick the Pens goalie.

Maybe you should ask him?

Going against the odds Sens in 7. Flames get the better PENS pick.

If the Pens get their act together defensively and get decent goaltending, they will win in 5 or 6 games. If they are sketchy defensively I think the Sens will take it. Hard series to predict for me, but I'll go with Ottawa in 7, just a hunch.
