Kings in 6. This team looks deadly again these playoffs.

Kings in 6

SJ has to hope that the Kings are tired/sore from the Blues series and that Niemi can stand on his head because they appear to be a like the Kings lite, a little less physical, a little less skilled, a slightly weaker defense.

I think the winner of this series is going to go on to the cup final BUT be pretty battered and bruised.

if there was ever a time for Jumbo Joe to do the opposite of what Tortorella has said Joe has done in the NHL (which is nothing) its now.

I'm surprised the lack of Shark love, especially after sweeping the Canucks.

SJ in 6 for me.

Both teams have a strong Canadian presence of superstars and I like both teams. I'm hoping for a great series and I think I'm hoping for a Sharks win in 7.

^ Agreed, I am pretty sure the Kings never had to play as difficult a series last season as the did just now against the Blues. Those two teams knocked the crap out of each other. Hard to see L.A. recovering from that very easily. They'll still put up a massive fight, but I think SJ takes them in 7.

I've been humming and hawing about this all night but I really think that last series got L.A juices flowing. Kings in 5.

LA in 4. I think SJ is hugely overrated and on the downhill.

We will find out how much that St.Louis series took a toll on the Kings. Those were 6 very hard fought games, and the travel from L.A. to St.Louis is a bit of a haul. Whereas the Sharks had a reasonable travel within their time zone, and were done with the Canucks in 4.

I say the Sharks win this in 7, and that they win 3 of the final 4 games to do it. I think the Kings pay the price for that St.Louis series here.

Sharks in 6

Any team beaten the Canucks will at least go to the conference final if not the Cup final.

If history dictates any team that has beat the Canucks in the first round has either gone on to win a cup or made it to the Stanley cup final.Including last years winners the Kings

So San Jose in 7

This will likely be the best series of the remaining teams.

Sharks in 6 is my guess.

A rematch from 2 years ago but this time the Kings have home ice advantage. Same result as back then, Sharks in 6. Niemi is better than Quick. Should be the best series of the 2nd round.

That makes no sense. They just swept The Canucks.
