And you'll have to spend money on the jersey of whatever team eliminates the Pens, who you've also been a fan of from the 80's. It would be awkward if it was the Sens since they only go back to 92. What will you do?!

Well that's rather unfortunate; it was fun seeing the underdog Islanders go head-to-head with a team full of riches that's essentially is trying to buy their way to the cup.

Priority #1 in the off-season for the Islanders should be to fix their problems in next like Mckenzie said. Nabokov let in 4 or more goals in every game, and is obviously not capable of being a starter in the league anymore.

So who do they go after? I don't think Luongo is a sensible option since they don't want to find themselves in another Dipietro situation. I could see them maybe going after a Ryan Miller, or perhaps Backstrom if the price is right. However, since he's already their property right now it would be wise to sign Tim Thomas to a one year deal for cheap, and see if he hasn't lost a step taking a year off. With the right goalie they could be a true threat come next year.

Keep ignoring whiners like you.

The fact you're so upset about this couldn't be more amusing.

So many but hurt bandwagon Isles fans on here. Didn't expect that, but it is funny stuff.

Nabokov only let in three goals in game two as the Islanders won by a score of 4-3 in regulation time.

Top 10 scorer in the NHL, yeah what a horrible deal. Can you at least try and make a useful contribution for once?

They should have called him up for tonight's game using morse code, smoke signals, or telegram of some sort; whatever reaches the encampment in the mountains or wherever he is.

Thomas was a top 5 goalie in the NHL before taking his break this season, so for the right price he'd be the obvious choice to bring in next season.

It's Bertuzzied. He would trade the 6th pick for Cal Clutterbuck

Hell yeah!!! well no. Because if we had Clutterbuck our 1st round pick would have been 14th.

Man I shudder when i imagine our Butlersoft team in the playoffs. By the end of the first round the entire Heat team would be up here due to injuries.

What? If Pens lose in the next round the pick is not 29th. The difference of the Pens losing in the next round and winning the cup is 4 spots. Yes i would like the flames to have those 4 spots.
