0-0 at Selhurst Park tonight. Palace lucky to be level at the half. They were poor, Brighton were dominant. Slight change in fortunes in the 2nd half. Palace has more possession than they did the 1st half (which was almost non-existent) and a few more chances. I don't care for a 0-0 scoreline heading back to the Amex - the whole away goals rule, etc. But Palace have lost both Williams and Murray, the latter to what looks like knee ligament damage. Brighton have a stingy defence and have been great at home as of late, but the whole away goals thing... I just don't know.
Lots of homophobic chanting to boot. Like diane says, "stay classy Palace."
First time watching Dean Hammond since he left Saints. Unlucky not to score in the first half..
Didn't realize that there were no 'away goals' in the playoffs. I like that a lot. While honours are even, I fancy Brighton in the return match at the Amex. Palace are without Murray and are have difficulty scoring away from Selhurst. Third fewest away goals for in the Championship. Albion have second stingiest home defence.
Decided to stay away from the semi-final. Last time these two played (17 March) there were fourteen arrests and problems in the Palace away end. I didn't fancy taking my better half to that.
What ... a ... fan. Its a game of football. Not downtown Kabul.
Do what the rest of the population does. Leave her at home.
Murray's injury from last night. Palace initially came out with "he might have been hit from behind" but were quick to rectify the comment upon seeing the footage.
I suppose for the health safety and well being of all the young ladies in the Brighton area the neutral can only hope that Palace go through. Can't be having any more celebrations down there given the happenings of the last one. Stay classy Brighton. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...lt-claims.html
