Pretty hard to imagine that won't be looked at as the best series of this playoffs. I was really hoping for a 7th game.

Bouwmeester went on a longer playoff run than the Sedins. I see that as a massive improvement for him.

It was a great series, I wish I could have watched it without a bias.

I would love to see Regehr win a cup. Oh ya good news for our pick to
By far the best series in the first round if you ignore all the drama and walruses of the other series and focus on the hockey.

On another note, Portland and Edmonton are in the WHL finals game 5 overtime is about to start on the Shaw channel (4 in the Vancouver area). Portland is up 3-1 in the series

Really wanted a game 7. What a series!
Too bad my least favorite team in hockey had to win it. Dang it. Hope they get swept in round 2.
But a better draft pick, so yay?

Yes, not many other defensemen in the NHL I would want on the ice protecting the lead.
He is one mean SOB, and still has game left. A big lol to the Regehr haters who thought he couldn't play still and called him a 6th defensemen. 18:30 minutes tonight that were likely very hard minutes.

Ya I agree with the earlier poster, I'd rather see Reggie win a cup than Iginla. i know he had every right to do it but ever since he sold his home in Calgary without even waiting for free agency, basically saying no way he'll come back to the Flames I've stopped cheering for him. Smart rational move but my fandom fr the flames isn't rational.

Werent there a few posters on here who would rather have Butler over Regehr This season?
Hearing that Regehr played well in a big game is nothing new. I am glad he is getting some recognition.

He is a 6th defensemen with any other coach than Darryl.
Doesn't hurt his game the more the refs 'let them play' in the playoffs and late in games too.

So the guy is most important in the playoffs and late in games?
Seems like a good thing.

He's a top 4 that's built for playoff hockey IMO.
He and Bouwmeester played very well tonight. Hopefully more upsets to come so that St-Louis draft pick can climb and the Pittsburgh pick can end up half decent as well.

Well considering Darryl just won the cup and another round and is one of the best coaches in the NHL I think he knows how to assess the talent on his team perfectly.
Just because he'd be a 6th defensemen on another team (which I think is bologna anyways), doesn't mean he deserves to be.

Quick finding his game after the rough start to the playoffs and the rest of the Kings starting to look like the dominating force they were last year. Only team in the west I can see giving them trouble now is Chicago
