If I was allowed to pick the first two teams to be punted from the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs, it would have been the Canucks and Habs.....in that order.
Next up tomorrow night, the Laughs.

Habs started playing poorly near the end of the season and carried it into the playoffs. Price was a big part, then the hit on Eller. Too many people yapping, not enough playing hard. The team made big strides this year. I hope that's not lost. I really couldn't care less about all the haters out there.

They lost their composure from the head coach down. That's the problem with Therrien he is a good coach but he's unstable and will crack. It's not a matter of if but when. He's a short shelf life coach that will bring success initially but when things start going bad so does he. Wait until next year if things don't go nearly as well for the team as he will turn the dressing room upside down like he did with the Penguins.
MacLean never got caught up in the petty stuff and it showed as the Senators remained focused on the task at hand.
I would like to see Iggy win the cup, but I would rather see our pick improve 4 or 5 spots.
1 or 2 spots? Meh. But 5 spots is a significant difference
So you can cheer against the Pens for the first two rounds and if they make it to the conference finals you may as well cheer for the Pens to win it all.
Technically speaking, if the Sens knock out the Pens before the conference finals the Pens pick could improve as much as 5 spots.
But of course, I would rather see Iginla win the cup than move our pick from 30 -> 25.
I wouldn't. I am thankful for what Iginla did for the Flames but could honestly care less if he wins the Cup this year. He is no longer part of the team, I would rather the Penguins fail and we move up.
