Well Gomez picks up 2 assists in over 17 minutes of icetime as the Ducks strike first in the CPHL Finals. The team did end up giving up 41 shots against but Quick was excellent. We need to tighten up a bit in our own zone and try to limit the chances against in game 2.

Don't forget to give 110%, leave it all on the ice, stick to your system and take it one game at a time.

We were off to a good start taking the lead and had an excellent 2nd period but Quick managed to escape the period only letting one in. Vrbata and Nash were both -3, so for the first game the answer was yes Anaheim can slow down Nash. Suter sealed the deal with an empty netter. Only highlight for the Islanders was a 2 point performance from Seidenberg.
