Far better than the slots, anyway, which have been estimated at a 5% house edge.

Sounds like your strategy isn't quite as "efficient" at gaining LPs, but it's a lot quicker and a lot less time consuming than constantly haven't to babysit the slots.
You basically check in on the game a couple of times a day and spend a few minutes playing black jack?

Yeah, pretty much.
You're right in that it's not as "efficient", but I figure that the game, strictly speaking, never "ends" so even when I've hit level 500 (the highest level before which it becomes exceedingly difficult to level - 1billion XP per level or so, I think?) I can continue to play and gain the LPs beyond that point.
For me, it was mostly a matter of finding the game only about 8 weeks before our (already scheduled) Vegas trip, so I just needed to get as many LP as fast as possible. Now that the trip is over, I'm playing much more casually - a mix of slots and blackjack - and saving up LPs at whatever rate they come for whenever we go back :-)

I think I'm going to use the blackjack strategy. I've started betting 2 hands at 3k/hand, and it's going well so far. 2 hands is necessary, as it eliminates the handicap of the dealer not having to hit 17 after a bust.
As for the posted strategy, that only recommends $200/bet up to level 58, it's not complete. It doesn't take into account the daily spins and casino collection bonuses. The faster you get those, the more LP points you get from those bonuses every day/few hours. I haven't done the math, but it's not as simple as saying you get x LP points/spin.

I wish I could play blackjack.. I ran out of coins being impatient haha
Btw, there is a contest right now with the excalibur game. You just have to collect 20 boquets..sounds easy but they appear like never. I've had 2 in the last 45minutes

They are related to how much you spend, not how many spins. You need to bet like 1.5 million total to get them. I spent all of my chips last night building the Luxor, so I've given up on the bouquet.

With 90% return you spend 150k to get 50k. So your cost for experience is only 75% of what it normally is. All of the slots have roughly the same payback so it doesn't really matter where you play the spins. The 150 machines are marginally more expensive per LP but with the free coins it is a better deal.

At 30,000 LPs now. Focussing on levelling up and building all the hotels. I play blackjack and only play the slots when I need to collect V symbols to build the hotels. The Luxor took so many V symbols that I used up all of my money collecting them in the slots. Going to take the day off tomorrow and just try to collect money to get back up to 60k+ and then start playing black jack again.
Playing blackjack, with all the bonuses, I can actually slowly grow my stack. The 200/spin slot games just drain my money way too quickly. The only time I'm going to play them is when I need to build a hotel. It took soooo many chips to build the Luxor and I imagine the 3 remaining hotels are only going to get worse. Totally worth it though. The Luxor alone give me 80LPs/collection, which translates into 200-300 a day just from that one hotel.

Anyone notice that the timer on the Luxor is really messed up. It's suppossed to take 6 hours before you can collect from it, but sometimes I'm able to collect in 1-2 hours.
Not complaning, just wondering if there's a reason for it.

All the timers are based off of clock times, not the last time you clicked on them. So for every six hours collection it will reset at 7:00, 13:00, 19:00 and 1:00 (theoretical example) no matter when you click on them.

Has anyone ever noticed if they give bonuses for LP if you purchase?

If you purchase chips, you will get some LP too - yes.
As for why someone would purchase chips, one reason is that if you purchase chips you are able to redeem additional rewards.
So, for example, I purchased a $5 chip pack because that way I was able to redeem 4 rewards on my recent trip instead of only 3. I figured the tradeoff of a $5 purchase to get a ~$50 reward was more than worth it.
