The Ducks vs the preordained in the finals!
Quacks have some BIG injuries....will be tough to win without an exorcism!

Shawn Matthias is injured at 0:25 of 1st period (Strained Left Knee)
Joe Thornton is injured at 11:31 of 1st period (Broken Left Foot Toe)
Mark Giordano is injured at 1:20 of 3rd period (Sprained Right Finger)

The run comes to an end.

After being out of the playoffs 2/5ths of the way into the season, it was pretty hard to see the positives in this team.

Glad that I was able to turn it around and give the best team in the west a run for their money.

Thrilled with the result! Finally we go back to the CPHL finals after losing to Simmer and the Habs a couple years back. Really looking forward to a challenging series with the Isles. Might have to be a little creative with lines as it looks like Joe T is out for the finals.

Good thing we randomly got Scott Gomez and Backlund in the AHL. I wonder if I am allowed to sign Landeskog and if that would even be worth it...

Thanks to LA for a very competitive series. I knew this one was going 7 games and I'm just lucky the Ducks had one extra good bounce.
