Sweet sweet tears. And I'm glad they'll have the officiating as an excuse and not realize the real problems on that team, let it last a couple years longer than it should....like a certain other Western Canadian team..

Not an iffy call at all. That was the very definition of boarding and it's great to see the Canucks go out on a cheap shot from a Sedin.

Suck it Canucks, Canuck fans and in the closet canuck fan in this thread.

That's the definition of boarding. 2 feet from the boards you can't hit a player into the boards.

Horrendous rebound.

Have to say that's a tough call to take in an elimination game.

Going into the playoffs I would have been shocked that Vancouver was going to be swept. Unbelievable really. But still...

How anyone can argue that call is beyond me. Boarding doesn't have to be a direct hit from behind. It was a stupid play at a dangerous area, a few feet from the boards. That's a penalty 10 out of 10 times.

So, history question. When was the last time a team was swept in back to back years? Edit NM, I thought the Kings swept last year.

Actually, Sharks winning on an AWFUL goal by Scheider on a bad call is the BEST possible way for this series to end.

Ugly hit, and the Canucks were getting away with murder all OT. Sharks were better from puck drop in OT.
