Its all fun to be rival fans but this is way too far.
I wish I could say I'm surprised. I've been to over half of the NHL arenas including some notorious places like Philly and Montreal, and the most classless fans by far in my experience are the ones in Boston. I've never had so many people tell me to "go back to Canada" just because I was wearing Flames gear, and my life was threatened the time that I went to a game with a buddy who was weaing a Team Canada jersey.

The d-bag-to-decent-human-being ratio in that city is just out of control.

Haha, yeah I was treated in a similar way. "Go back to f-ing Canada". That said, the people around our seats were amazing and also the fans at the Red Sox and Patriots game were for welcoming.

Not cool. I got sucker punched last year and was concussed and still feel the effects some days. Hopefully the guy gets caught and gets some jail time.

If you're not a Leafs fan, there is zero chance you can enjoy that opening montage on CBC.

That was overkill, even for CBC.

So are they going to honor another 12 Leafs tonight and the game will be underway a little past 5:30?

It sounded like he was singing in some kind of accent. Wasn't a huge fan

The Canadian anthem is awful. The American anthem is great.

This game is not nationally televised in the US unless you have the NHL Network. I pay for Centre Ice, and I still can't see it. What a joke.

Will these idiots stop talking about Chara and Kessel matching up against each other? Jesus, that's all they talk about.

Meh, was kind of expecting something along those lines. Center of the hockey universe in the playoffs for the first time in nearly a decade? Yeah these going to be some super sap from all broadcasts.

If the maple leaf logo was replaced with another Canadian teams logo, those fans would be sobbing wet messes.
