Tim Tebow is a garbage QB and will fail if he comes to the CFL just like he did in the NFL. Do these idiots who claim he should come up here realize the CFL is a passing league? The guy has one heck of a weak throwing arm. He struggled throwing an out in the NFL. In his NFL career he has completed less than 50% of his passes.

The bulk of the people clamouring for Tebow to go to Canada are anti-Tebow fans. I'd call myself a Tebow fan and the ONLY reason I'd want him to come here is to increase the exposure the league would get (but I doubt it would last very long). He looks like he has the arm strength but his mechanics are so off. He'd need some serious work to have a chance of success up here.

I'd bet on him being successful in the CFL. Its been a while since I've got to watch any cfl games, but from what I remembered the scrambling QBs had a lot of success with all the extra open space. And Tiebow had decent college completion stats, so he may be able to throw in a league that doesn't require great mechanics.

IF I was him I would change my tune and be willing to play another position. Little doubt he could play some RB or TE. He is a very good hard nosed runner. Plus some team can line him up in the wildcat or have him throw off the run. At the same time be their 3rd stringer.

I actually think Tebow would have a decent shot in the CFL. Even though it's considered a passing league, you don't need a cannon arm or good mechanics to be successful (see Glenn, Kevin). As long as he's accurate enough to hit the open guys, it's just a matter of how quickly he can pick up a CFL offence and learn how to read a CFL defence.

Draft Day today!

I haven't had a chance to look over any of the draft previews or anything, so I have no idea what to expect

How does Ottawa have a pick if they aren't playing this season? How is that fair to that player?

I recall that Ottawa was only eligible to pick players who have an additional year of NCAA eligibility... guys who can go back to college next year.

Stamps take Brander Craighead in 1st round.

Head Coach/GM John Hufnagel says: "He’s a very athletic young man. He has another year left in school. He’s excited. At the time we were selecting him he was in his coach’s office at UTEP waiting by the phone. It’s a look to the future. Because of the draft following 2013 season, a red shirt player will not have signed a contract so I do not need to protect him, and one thing I didn’t want to do was select a player in the first round that we could possibly lose six months later."

Could very well be the best OL in this class however as some people predicted he dropped because may be going to medical school, so he is a question to when he may make it to Calgary?

Top ranked prospect by many in the draft, Boseko Lokombo to BC in 3rd round. Doubt he ever sees the CFL field as likely is a 1-3 round pick next April in the NFL Draft.

Good review on this guy. I have never seen him play but I read so many good things about this guy. One man wrecking crew.. he will go on a tryout with Tampa Bay and if he doesn't make it, he will try with the New York Jets. Maybe he will be a Stampeders in a few years or might not be. If he wears the Stampeders uniform this season, Huf is a genius for picking him as he is probably one of the top rated DLinemen in this group.
