Besides scoring, what did Turris do to get all those guys to attack him?

Rene Bourque won't be suspended for his intentional elbow, meanwhile Gryba got suspended for a cleanish hit. Shanahan is the joke the keeps on giving. Good to know too that you can intentional elbow someone.

Besides being a smaller guy who's easy to pick on, he did nothing.
So shanny's spinning wheel of justice should be taking a good hard look at Bourque and Prust. Both have history's and clearly were attempting to injure with hits to the head. and unlike the Gryba hit these were targeted hits to the head.
But then again based on the Gryba hit the optics aren't outrageous enough (no senators players lying in a pool of their own blood).

Montreal is in real trouble....not only have the players lost focus, but so has their coach.
Therrien calling MacLean classless is hilarious considering what his players were doing throughout the game.
No suspensions will be coming from those incidents as they are minor in the big picture and there was no damage done, but the optics are really bad when taken into consideration the time they happened in the game and the score.
Therrien has a really big task in front of him to get these guys back in line for tomorrow night and if he cant, this thing is over in 5.

Actually, he called it to give his team instructions to back off in case the Canadiens decided to try for a few more cheap shots with 16 seconds left in the game.
If the same thing happens tomorrow though, I hope he calls a time out just as late in the game, simply so he can pull out a mirror and adjust his moustache.
Sad behaviour by Montreal last night. Sad enough to make me want to see a Bryan Murray team win.

I would love it if the Sens were running away with it and in the last minute PM called a time out and pulled out a BP menu and a cellphone and started taking orders for delivery before calling it in
Ref - "Ok, coach get your players back on the ice"
PM- "Just a minute Blue, I'm trying to decide between twisty bread or chicken wings with my order for an extra 2 bucks"

I'm just shocked that that isn't one game. Totally blatant and obviously aimed at the head. It would be a pretty easy one to justify.

Better to have Bork in the lineup so he can continue to do stupid things that help Ottawa

I didn't see that elbow before; that should be a bigger suspension than the Gryba hit, in my opinion.

What was suspendable? Bourque and Prust maybe, but it would be a reach given the way things have been handled.

I thought the vicious two-hander that White gave Smith was definitely suspension worthy. It was the catalyst that started the whole fiasco.

Meh, it wasn't as vicious as it looked and came in response to Smith crosschecking him. If you suspend on that you're suspending a lot of guys over the course of the playoffs. Also, it lead to White getting his ass handed to him so I enjoyed it.

236 min of penalties that was entertaining to watch. I am surprised Prust isn't facing a suspension for all the slew foots he doled out in that game. Bork should definitely be facing a few games Shanny has his head up is butt overlooking that nasty elbow to the head.
