They actually have ink in their contracts that say they have to be on the same team, or even on the same line together?

There's something truly heartwarming about combing through the highlights of all of these playoff games. The thunderous roar of a home crowd as they take in the spectacle of top-grade ice hockey in front of them, the display of skill and effort that the dangling carrot of Lord Stanley inspires within players, and the utter misery and sorrow that has come to enshroud the Vancouver Canucks organization (and the associated schadenfreude that I'm basking in as a result).

It's all so, so wondrous.

No ink. I remember when they re-signed with Vancouver last time, they said they wanted to play their whole careers together. One of the reasons they were thinking about going to Toronto was that Burke would have signed them both. At this stage of their careers i am not sure a team would want to take a chance on just one of them.

Game 3 ... The Vancouver Canucks ladies and gentlemen!
That sounds like the exact quote frm last year against the Kings.

We all can enjoy a good collapse by the right team and roast the goalie. That performance by Schneider is a cut above though. All 3 goals were very stoppable. Pretty much clean shots that were not unreasonable and sieve like tending.

At least when other goalies let in a bunch, there are screens, defensive breakdowns, cross crease tap ins. But that was unlike anything I have seen before. 3 clean stoppable shots.

That was a clinic in how not to be a clutch goaltender. It was delightful.

The Canucks are probably going to battling for that last spot as soon as next year, so don't get too far ahead of yourself that they'll still easily be able to make the playoffs consistently.
Not all that clear, actually. They haven't shown much yet.

Completely frag-men.....ted... Holy lady spit it out!

What's that you cried during the game? CRIED? Tears, so delicious! Little slow, not many people flying off the handle but all the whining and crying sure is fun.

Not that I think Pat Steinberg is awful, but he should take some pointers from Jeff Patterson. He's an excellent host.

I don't think the Sedins together will return a top-five pick this year:

· They're not going to Colorado, who looks to be amassing young talent, and who will almost certainly draft Jones.
· Florida, Carolina, and Nashville all likely do not have the budget to add $12.0 m in salary, even for just one year.
· TB is close to the cap, and Vancouver would need to take LeCavalier back in a deal, which isn't happening.

I think that Edmonton's #7 pick could actually make some sense: They could be a cap team, and are in desperate need of offense. There is a bit of cap space, although I suspect that Vancouver would need to take someone back. MacTavish has positioned himself to make a big splash, and will likely attempt something desperate to get this awful team into the playoffs next year. Adding the Sedins might do it.

No way in hell the twins wave to go to Edmonton.
