if they did want to do a partial rebuild Tampa might be the team, St.Louis is running out of years and may want to make a run while they can

Florida, TB, Nashville.
3 markets that need stars and play-offs to sell tickets.
You can market those guys in those markets and getting to play-offs is good enough.
I have been down on the sisters for as long as any e but you can sell Daniel, Henrik and Hubredeau in Florida.

Sharks should send that Hanry Sister buttend to Couture head on the face off. Cammy got 1 or 2 games vs the Hawks in 09.

Canucks management should be fired for all this goaltending nonsense the last two seasons. Unacceptable.

H. Sedin should be suspended. Two deliberate head shot. First the butt end and then well neiemi was covering the puck he came in and elbowed the shark dman (the play kassian picked up a penalty in the third).

Do they start their goalie of the future or start the goalie that will be traded next game?

None of those teams can afford the Sedins.
Also, the Sedin's have close to zero recognition in small U.S. markets. The NHL beat reporters probably know who the Sedin are. Joe 'watches 5 games a season on NBC' hasn't a clue. And it's not as though their sparkling personalities will win over new fans.

from a value stand point
would not mind at all looking at a Schnieder trade
they would get a great return for him

They aren't big name guys though. Quiet Sweeds aren't going to sell tickets in any US market. TB needs better defensemen but yet the Preds may be a fit although after giving up a 1st for Gaustadt last year I can't see them doing it in this draft.

Agreed. They probably get a better package for Schenider. Can trade him anywhere and has a good cap hit.

I don't think it will be easy but that is a line that can get you into the play-offs in the East.

Lol at those loser Canuck fans celebrating a goal to make it 5-2 like they just won the game. Embarrassing.

I think you can sell Hart, Art Ross trophy winners to fans.
They might not know them but use their stats to sell them.
Plus none of those fans know they disappear in play-offs.

Yes and the Canucks a much worse team. Lets face it for all their issues in the playoffs if you take the Sedins off that team it isn't very good at all with less scoring depth than even the Flames.

Yeah ... it sucks that the Flames let their window slam shut, but it would have been way worse if we wasted as much talent as the Canucks did in 2011.
