Sounds like it must be Dean Brown.

The NBC PBP guy is HOF announcer Mike "Doc" Emrick, formerly the Devils' announcer, but now NBC full time...the Analyst is Eddie Olczyk, Former NHL Journeyman ('Hawks, Jets, Pens, Leafs, Kings, Rangers) and Former Pens coach...Eddie O is better on National broadcasts than on local 'Hawk games, but isn't the worst "homer" on the air.

On the game...pretty passing for the 'Hawks on Oduya's goal...Hard work by Clutterbuck and Bouchard on the Wild goal.

Emrick is terrible. I guess I understand that he has been pimped in the States and trying to get Americans into hockey making him a HHOF'er maybe gives him credibility but he is awful to listen to.

Olczyk isn't too bad when not being a huge homer which as you say he seems to tone down for the NBC games.

Personally I love Emerick. Would you rather listen to this idiot on CBC who's actively trying to put the viewers to sleep?

I'm not huge on Emrick, but I would take him over Dean Brown 11 times out of 10.

At least I now know I don't have to listen to Brown on the radio this evening!

Emrick is the best in the business.

Oh Dean Brown is definitely terrible himself but Emrick is probably slightly worse. Terrible voice, lack of knowledge and general annoying useless chatter makes him pretty much unlistenable.

Best analogy ever. "Like live video of a shark giving birth. You don't see it very often, like Suter on the bench" where the hell did that even come from? Epic

Wild do a good job in the 2nd by mucking and grinding...slowing the pace of the game to something they can handle...still 1-1 after 2 periods

What a pathetic dive by Clutterbuck. He's such a diver it's unbelievable.

Wild seemed more intent on cheap shotting the 'Hawks than on covering their guys...

Q going to the forward shuffle...Kane/Toews/Sharp now the stacked line...I look for one of the grinders like the current Frolik/Shaw/Bickell line to get it to the LD trailer just like the 1st two 'Hawk goals for the game winner in OT.
