I hope they aren't too big on doing hockey highlights, cause they're about to go from those being around 50% of their time spent to around 5% on FS1.

Fox Sports 1 is going to replace Speed TV in the States in mid-August. Since Speed is carried in Canada, it will be interesting to see if it's allowed to continue in Canada after the change.

Sometimes, like when TNN became Spike, the Canadian channels try to get the new format removed from Canadian cable.

It's not like the other talent is terrible. For what it is compare to the rest of the field (Sportsnet and little bit of glimpses down south), TSN is around the top tier in personalities.

I find myself watching sportsnet more anyway, all tsn is is top tens, cfl and curling it seems. Hockey and baseball, sportsnet is better.

Wow, I am surprised at how many people here liked their shtick?

Personally, I watch sportscenter for actual news...their routine wore on me really quickly to the point it was not watchable and more about "them" and less about, you know, actual sports...

But hey, to each their own...

Having what equated to minor amounts of humor during a sports news show was awesome and entertaining. Not sure why reporting news has to be uptight and monotone. Onrait and O'Toole were awesome. Their schtick IS funny given the amount of news they have to cover and the speed at which they are required to do so.
