Oh man, that deep fried butter is soooo disgusting sounding....I was surprised there's pretty much nothing on that list that I would go out of my way to try & that's not something I usually can say about the Stampede grub.
 Also, pickle juice shooters???? *barf*

True enough & without any real idea of what would be involved aside from a guess, I can honestly say that doesn't bother me much! LOL

mini donuts, not sure why they need all those gimmicky foods. They just need mini donuts.
I get them once a year, and that's it, as long as they have that, I will attend the stampede... and beer, and rides, and bbq meat sandwich things, and girls in cowboy hats, and short shorts, and superdogs... maybe not so much superdogs

The Stampede should focus more on bringing in competition quality BBQ rigs rather than all of this deep-fried garbage. In fact, the stampede should host a BBQ competition.

Yeah, I've been to a couple of touring Ribfests over the years and Calgary really needs to be a stop, whether part of the Stampede or not. Mmmm, ribs.

I've talked to friends of mine about a Stampede BBQ competition as well. I think it would be a great addition. Maybe we should get in touch and propose something?
