I actually don't hate the Leafs, well the fans perhaps but that is a different story, so I had high hopes that this could be the big upset series. After watching that game tho... I don't think I've seen that much of a difference between teams in a good long while, not just the score but it honestly looked like the Bruins were going half effort all game and still looked so dominant it was just scary.

Incredible that they managed to make the playoffs looking this out of place.

Carlyle is living a nightmare. That was a pitiful performance out there. Bring out the rakes or dress some of the minor league team. The Bruins are going to pound every Leaf they see.

I've seen every Leaf game this year and I would say this was one of their worse played games. Boston looked good, but the Leafs had so many huge giveaways throughout the whole game it made it pretty easy for the Bruins.

Plus it doesn't help that the Leafs have Carlyle as their coach. I seriously question playing two goons on the 4th line in the playoffs. One isn't even needed, let alone two! And putting Kadri with MacArthur and Komarov? The former is absolutely useless, and the latter you're not going to get much offense. And why would Carlyle switch up the bottom 3 lines for the first playoff game? I'm not one to blame a loss on a coach, but a lot of Carlyle's decisions have a lot of Leaf fans scrathing their heads.

As probably mentioned the Leafs looked like the 76 Canadiens compared to the Isles last night. They weren't great for sure but the Isles looked much worse than them.

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger

Reimer wasn't happy with Boychuk shot beating him high.Says may have been fooled by a black seat in stands at eye level, but says no excuse.

What's next? He's going to come out and say that he lost the puck in the sea of black jerseys that litter the Garden?

hahahhaa. can't believe there are that many people on here wanting the Leafs to win.

If Jagr can make Boston's pp AHL level they will go 16-0 for the cup. Suck it pens!

Whichever ref just made that call on Phaneuf without giving a penalty to Marchand should be fired on the spot, not in the intermission, not after the game but right this minute.

Pathetic call by the ref, pathetic play by Marchand.

Don't worry Marchand got a BS call 3 seconds later.

Marchand gave Lupul a fairly harmless jab on the arm. Phaneuf came back after him, and was fine until he decided to throw a right cross at Marchand's chin.

Stupid decision by Phaneuf.

Don Cherry totally chickened out when asked about the hit from the Sens-Montreal game. Kind of lame for him to not even comment on the hit itself.

The right cross was as harmless as the Marchand jab.

Both guys should be gone and get that garbaged stopped.
