Very valid question - and difficult to answer.
First of all, is he a legit prospect? Absolutely.
Will he turn out to be another Brent Krahn? Quite possibly.
Goalies are tricky to gauge - you never really know until they get there.
The problem is that there is only one position: either you become an elite goalie and can play in the NHL (60 jobs, total), or you are a failure as a prospect.
It isn't like a forward, for example, where you might become an elite, franchise player, or maybe a solid 2nd liner, or there's always a 3rd liner, or find a way to make yourself valuable as a grinder/energy guy. There are no 4th-line-grinders between the pipes (those guys are Brent Krahns)
With goalies, it's all or nothing, so you need lots of them and you hope one turns out.
Brossoit is a better prospect than Ramo, IMO. But Ramo is closer to the NHL and will get his chance this year.
Like another poster said, I believe Gillies is the best prospect in the organization, with Brossoit 2nd and Ramo 3rd.
But until one of them actually becomes a legitimate NHL starter, it is all anybody's guess.
