After 4 games of waiting, it would appear our Wings have finally shown up.
Oil play a lack luster game 5, loosing for the first time on home ice since day 138 of the regular schedule and more importantly the first time during the play-offs.
“We just seemed to blow a tire in the third, that in combination of our poor penalty killing cost us a chance to close out this series. Now it’s a series, well be ready to play in Detroit for game 6”. Were the comments from GM Rink Rat.
Jeff Carter, the young Oil star learned a good lesson today as he served a 5 minute major penalty at the end of the second period that saw the tide of the game turn as Comrie and Susie both scored on the 5 min PP. That seemed to be the difference as the Oil PK has left the building.
“ Wow that was a bad judgment call by Jeff, you cant take that kind of penalty at this level of hockey. Ha I told him next time you take a five minute charging penalty ………. Make sure he does not get back up. If your going to do it …. Do it”.
The series now shift back to Detroit where we expect to find a pumped up Wings team. Whoooo!
LETS GET IT ON!
