So, showing someone pick 4 balls out of a lottery machine and then going back and consulting a spreadsheet to find the winner's name would have increased your trust?

At least it wasn't the Oilers. Again.
Or Phoenix.

i dont think there is a draw, it's computer generated unless you can find 2000 ping pong balls.

Ugh. Not only did Calgary not win, but this is just painful television to watch. Bill Daly has all the charisma of my office chair.
And I agree with puckluck. I want to see the actual draw. I don't trust Bettman not to mess with the results. He's about as trustworthy as a hanging chad.

Meh, no real impact in the Flames. A number of teams already better then us will continue to pick before us. Just as silly as it seemed this morning.

At least we can still say we've never had a top 5 pick with pride.
At least until next season, probably.

monohan was 6th on mckenzie's list? that would be a great center for the flames to get

Monahan was 7th. Bob had Lindholm slotted in at 6th.

Cause that's the only way right? Crosby was handed to Pittsburgh because they rigged it that way. The fact they're not willing to show the fans the draw says a lot about them.

Yup, when they showed the big board on tsn with all the teams, for some reason my mind went, we are going to drop a spot.

I think both those franchises need that #1 dman more then a forward, so ya he was probably a little choked. I don't see him going off the board to take a Ristolainen or Nurse either.
