Default What's the deal with this shanty town?


Has anyone ever noticed the shanty town of trailers and old vehicles on the NW corner of Glenmore Trail (HWY 8) and 69 St SW? It's that weird triangle of property that is in between the highway and Lower Springbank Road. I've never seen anyone enter/exit the property, however there are frequently fresh tracks going in the locked gate. Anyone know the story?

I have seen a truck at the gate. I have always assumed that plot of land and the horses across 69th in the field are related.

I was curious once and used my creepy friends at google maps to help me look.

Thats only a 6-8 minute stumble from the pub where we are having the CP playoff draft tonight. Or 1 minute drive.

Maybe after many beers we'll send in Flameskickass and Locke to investigate. Will film and update.

Note to self bring flashlights, maybe a banjo.
