Yup, he said very close to untouchable only to move up in the draft. I just hope Feaster keeps his word this time.

Calgary Flames@NHLFlames29s
Feaster: Every time you pull on the sweater ... the expectation is to win ... that's how we treated the end of the season.

Calgary Flames@NHLFlames13s
Feaster: It's important our guys develop in a winning atmosphere ... it becomes an organizational thing & a cultural thing.

I'd say no to Stajan. I'd have no problem keeping him for next year if there isn't a good trade on the table.

Tanguay seems like a prime candidate if there are no trades available. Cammalleri is another possibility, but he's another guy I think you can hang on to for one more year, and shop at the deadline.

Yes!

I can see us potentially trading up with a team that is in need of a defenseman. potentially colorado?

I don't think there's any chance Cammalleri gets bought out. Even if he isn't in our longterm plans, he can be dealt at the trade deadline.

Vicki Hall ‏@vickihallch 15s Feaster says four franchise players avail in draft, and overall a deep class

I think Feaster wants to get into the top 4.

I wonder if the fact he thinks (and keeps mentioning) there are 4 "franchise" players in the draft means we will move up..

Sounds like they are going to give a UFA a big payday and use the buyout for some more breathing space....... Weiss welcome to Calgary?
Tanguay is getting bought out.

He would be the only guy that even remotely makes sense.

We didn't "tank" at all. We're not a good team, we're also not as bad as Colorado, Florida etc.
