Sharks in 6, I hate the Canucks and hope they lose out big in the first round.

I think the Canucks win the first round. I think they had a much tougher road to get to the playoffs this year so are more in the right mindset then the past few years. This years scares me more than the last 2. I think in the west only Chicago and LA would beat them. So them being the 3 seed they might only have to face 1 of those teams to reach the finals.

Canucks in 6

This is a tough series to predict. If the good Sharks team show up than they are quite capable of beating Vancouver. But the Sharks seem to be either really good, or really mediocre. I'll say Canucks in 7 because of the home ice.

At some point the window has to slam shut on this sharks team and they have to know it.

Neither team really lit things up offensively and their differential gf and ga aren't that far off.

I do like the Sharks forward group better.

If they come out with some determination the Sharks upset the Canucks.

If they limp wrist it they go out in 5

Patrick Marleau scored 1 fewer goal in his first 4 games as he did in his last 44, and had more than half his goal total 5 games into the season. In his final 43 games he had 8 goals and 10 assists. Today the Sharks will win because it's Pavelski and Couture leading the charge, while Thornton and Marleau are the secondary scoring. They have 5 of the most important guys in Thornton, Marleau, Couture, Pavelski, and Boyle becoming free agents in 2014 with only Couture being restricted. If they don't win this year, I think the Sharks will be the most active team in moving out parts over the next 11 months.

The players must sense that this is their last chance as a group to have a chance to do something.

Sharks in 6. Canucks will not match the Shark's toughness and will be beaten down early and often.

Sharks win the cup this year?
The last 3 years, whichever team has beaten the Canucks has gone on to win the cup

Both teams are on the downslide and very evenly matched...Sharks have the edge at center, Canucks have the edge in goal.

Should be a very close series. The main thing the Canucks have going for them is if Schnieder faulters then Luongo will be chomping at the bit to get in, with something to prove. If Niemi falters then the Sharks are in deep poop.

It is not confirmed yet but it looks that way. Many on twitter and other sites are saying that TSN will be televising the Senators-Habs series.

It'll be nice to watch at least on TSN. Although I enjoy the hilarity that is Hughson and Simpson.

they would go Toronto anyway I think

wouldn't happen for the Canucks until a potential Toronto-less round

This proves that the CBC is anti-west.
