You probably forgot to add "Heheheheheheheheheh" after saying the phrase. At least, that's how I imagine Bertuzzied talks in real life.
Props to him for giving cheap geeks on CP a discount. That should get him a free pass from banning from the mods. For the rest of April anyways...

Seriously?
If Betuzzied bothers you that much just ignore his posts and don't derail an entire thread to do it. You're the only one that deserves a ban here buddy.

Don't worry about it. It was only a buck and change and still a great price compared to other vendors. Great selection though. I'll be back today but probably only for panels.

Here's a link to some photos I took Friday and Saturday. No real editing done, so sorry for angles and such. I'm taking my two-year-old today, so will try to get more pictures for him.

Yes, the last guy is doing cosplay of Captain Merrill Stubing from The Love Boat.

WTF, they opened up badge sales again for Sunday. What happened to "sold out"? Good if anybody changes their mind at the last minute.

Plenty of room in the Corral as of now though if you're planning on coming for the big panels today.

Game of thrones panel was absolutely hilarious. Don't think Hedley and Dinklage were expecting such a big crowd. But once they settled in and cracked a couple beers it was great. Didn't realize Hedley had such an accent and Peter was great. Very witty and well spoken. Best panel of the show so far IMO.

So bummed out. I slept through my alarm and woke up at 10:30. Decided it was too late to bother going, but now reading all the nice reactions on twitter and it seems Fillion was signing until past 1:00pm anyways.

Busy but fun day. Nothing too crazy to say but it's amazing how huge this show and weekend is for Expo. It's really becoming a huge part of Calgary.

I didn't bother to line up to see any guests at the Expo this year but I just met Colm Meaney at the mall.

Ya in all the panels at the Corral I was at today a lot of the guests were legitimately shocked at how many people were there. Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage especially (I'm sure the beers they requested helped though!). Steve Yuen even compared it to San Diego Comic Con. It's certainly growing which is great I think.
Robert Patrick did not like the host of the X-Files panel at all after a quick little exchange at the start of the panel about the how much of the events depicted in "Fire in the Sky" were actually based on fact. Made for some very awkwardly funny moments for the rest of the X-Files panel. Rest of it was kinda "meh" but I've never really watched the series. The rest of the shows in the Corral today were great though I thought. I'm so glad they got the guys from Inner-Space to host the rest of them as I've come to the conclusion the host can have a bigger impact on the entire panel than I first thought.
I found the juxtaposition of the people showing up for Cirque de Soleil wearing their Sunday finest passing people leaving the expo wearing wookie outfits and batman costumes somewhat amusing.
All in all a fun weekend. Definitely heading back next year.

I'm still chapped about how they stopped allowing people into the Corral at around 1:10PM after the Game of Thrones panel started. One of my friends was there for Game of Thrones and stayed for TWK, said that there were empty seats, despite the event staff's claims that the Corral was over capacity.
Either they need better head counts, or move the bigger events to the Dome.

This.
Whatever horseshoe they had up their butts Friday and yesterday must have fallen out, because their crowd management today was downright awful.
First, they were letting people into the building far too slowly after the doors opened, creating a huge line outside that by my estimate would've been there until at least noon. Supposedly to minimize crowd pressure at the inner doors, but there wasn't any so there was absolutely no good reason to impose the kind of bottleneck they did.
Then they messed things up my closing the Corral when they shouldn't have. The "we're closed" announcements were intended to disperse the crowds gathering in artist alley, but they only exacerbated the situation because if you announce that its closed then everyone wants to be there for when you re-open. And they will believe that you will re-open, because they know that the Corral can't be full for Nathan Fillion while Game of Thrones is still in session, because it's obvious that some people will leave between panels. The simple and obvious way to disperse that crowd would have been to let them fill the available seats.

My friends said they had to wait in line for about a half hour to get in this morning but when I arrived at noon there was no line at all. I thought it was a lot less congested on the exhibition floor then it was last year.

My son and I arrived at 10:00am, went to the Big 4 building for Kidzone, and then wandered over to the BMO Centre around 10:30am. No issue walking in the same doors I've been walking through all weekend.
Yet when my friend arrived at 12:00noon he had to line up.
Edit: Took a few photos today, it was tough with an overstimulated toddler to look after:

At what point?
Using the Dome would be great. They could cut the Dome in half, put the stage in the middle and using either side as a panel area. The higher raised seats would make it much more intimate then the horrible Corral.
The buzz around the city surrounding expo continues to grow though. Good job by all those involved.

Tens of thousands of dollars for three hours of panels (as today was the only time there was an issue with the Corral? I don't see the need.
