Looks like they will end up playing the ghosts of the post-season in San Jose unless the Sharks make the comeback tonight. I still think the Canucks win that series, then lose to Anaheim in the second round.

Lou sure knows how to round into playoff form, you can't teach that kind of professionalism.

Yup, absolutely!
I never said Vancouver was a bad team. They are the best team in the NW mainly because most of the NW is junk. But they are not a contender. Just my opinion of course.

Looks like Yakupov has the Calder locked up now.

Likely not, ballots have already been handed in prior to the game.

Loving the celebration, people are going to be pleased with the Oilers effort going into the off-season based off two meaningless games at the end of the season.
Time to give Lowe and MacTavish a raise and an extension methinks.

Why are the Oilers fans giving a standing O?
hasn't this season been a massive disappointment? specifically the last few weeks?
blind faith is why Lowe and his cronies don't have any fear of losing their job

Even the Sedins in the lineup can't stop a full 7uongo meltdown.

the NW excuse is overplayed, you can look in the past couple of season and pick any division you like and you'll see we have a winning record against any of them.
Also youre acting like your Edmonton 'superstars' beat a Canuck squad that had all their regulars.
just like the HNIC panel said, im glad you guys are enjoying this win, but in the end of the day you guys will have another top 5 pick in the last 3 seasons. Building something great alright.

What don't you understand???? Where did I say Edmonton was good? I didn't. There is a ton of work to do.
I was just saying that Vancouver isn't as good as they were a few years ago when they were playing great hockey and were a cup contender.
