On one hand, be thankful we've still got that 6th pick, and COL matched the offer sheet for ROR. Imagine watching COL pick 2nd and 6th, while ROR is on some team other than the Flames, after they scoop him up on waivers.
On the other hand, that same person that created that almost nightmare is still driving the Flames bus and making the pick, which is far from a consensus at #6.

Hoping for a miracle and a lottery win Monday.

Let us all pray or do whatever you do and use our powers to get ourselves the lottery win.
Something has to go our way eventually.

Happy we are positioned to get a very good player with our pick. And I'm definitely intrigued to see how the STL and PIT picks work out.
Fingers crossed for a lottery win!

For those wondering how an announcement that can take 2 minutes can be stretched into a half hour show:

		| Daly joins host James Duthie and Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie for the 30-minute TSN original production, which features representatives from each of the five teams most likely to win the lottery and #1 overall pick.
McKenzie ranks the consensus Top 10 prospects and TSN Scout Craig Button projects how the first 14 picks will unfold once the draft order is determined. The show also includes a feature on consensus No. 1-ranked prospect Seth Jones of the Portland Winterhawks.

If the Oilers win the lottery I will lose my mind. I hate it, year after year they are rewarded for being a poorly managed organization.

Just for the record, I hate the fact that we have a GDT for a freaking draft lottery.

Are they doing the back room "wink" "wink" draw still or are they actually going to show it this time?

If the draft were rigged the Oilers wouldn't have won it last season after picking first two times previously.

It doesn't get much clearer then that.
