Carolina just needs a point, not even a win.

If Minnesota wins, they're in. I think to an extent their schedule just caught up with them and they were never as good as they seemed when they were leading the division, but the Calgary game was bad and the Edmonton game was just a comedy.

Big pressure to win while their scoring is getting frustrated.

They play a draining, grindy style. On the boards all game long. I don't know if that's sustainable in today's NHL. Their first line is very good at it, but it can be too exhausting for them when the rest of the team just doesn't follow their lead.

Today we're all Predators fans.

Edit: I typed "Blue Jackets" instead of Preds first. Absent-minded

Flames draft position aside, I'm hoping San Jose beats LA tonight. Vancouver media has picked San Jose as their preferred matchup for the Canucks, so naturally I'm hoping for Sutter and the Kings.

Very small change St. Louis could slip to 6th, but that would be okay too.

Do they even charge for tickets in the Southeast anymore?

New York Rangers up 3 - 0 in the 3rd.

Looks like NYI will be playing PIT in the 1st round. (OTT will only need 1 pt out of 2 remaining games to avoid 8th in the east.)

Sad part is, they mirror the Northwest almost identically. Especially if Minnesota blows it tonight and finishes 1 spot out of the playoffs.

91 regulation wins for both divisions heading into tonight.

We're that bad?

I blame Kevin Lowe.

Daniel, Burrows, Garrison, Hamhuis, Edler not playing tonight... Henrik will play on the 4th line..

Weise, Pinozotto, Sestito, Alberts and Joslin in...

Normally I wouldn't care if we get blown out with that lineup, but its the Loilers and on HNIC, if we get blown the f out, Edmonton fans will think they have a dynasty in the making.

I hope the Oilers win big and that tonight's win combined with last night's is enough to convince McTavish that changes aren't required.

This is precisely what we want Edmonton fans - and management - to believe

I still think Tambellini was the best man for the job at screwing that team. But the same staff surrounds McTavish so heres hoping a few more 'Oil Change' episodes in the future.

So Columbus can win this game and still miss the playoffs?

Yes, if Detroit and Minnesota both win.

Yes. If Minnesota wins, they're in regardless of what CBJ does because they hold the tiebreaker.

Yep if Minnesota wins and Detroit goes to OT because they are behind the tiebreaker (ROW) against both teams.

It doesn't matter what the Lightning do for the Flames.
