we are ahead of them because of ROW, 19 to 18.

Flames would be ranked ahead due to one extra regulation or OT win.

Oh isn't this perfect. At least the Canes got a point. And also i think the Jets are eliminated as well so i'm not upset about it.

Wow ... it was looking so good for us and now Nashville is getting rocked and the Canes blow it.

Winterpeg is not out yet. If they win tonight and Ottawa fails to get 2 points in their remaining games, then they are in.

Additionally, that was likely the last chance for Carolina to get ahead of us. Even a resting Pens are going to blow them up on Saturday.

I hope those of you who were cheering for "culture-building" wins are still happy.

It doesn't matter which way you're cheering for. Players are going to play. The "losing culture" thing is ridiculous though ... winning games at the end of a season when you're near the bottom of the league doesn't just negate 3 years of team performance.

If you are a fan you should cheer for your team to win.

That culture building win against Anaheim may end up being the difference between a franchise center and a decent 2nd line player.

I sure hope it was worth it.

Again ... the players are going to play and try to win. Yeah it sucks, but are you suggesting people here are responsible?

It's amazing that with one less win the Flames could be in the 4th draft position with a shot at 3rd. Now most likely 6th or 7th.

Frack really! So no franchise centre has ever been drafted out the of top five? Flames should just forfeit their picks, why even bother.
