I assume the BSG is the new version, not the one from the 70s?

I think the seeds were sort of chosen at random, unless Hockey says otherwise.

The rankings were determined by votes. So I think Dexter had the 6th most votes. Lots of shows had the same amount of votes, so those rankings were determined by a random generator.

Still early on, but we have a few blowouts happening and few upsets in the making.

Something tells me this will all come down to breaking bad v game of thrones.

For my money, Sopranos and The Wire are the best of all time. All the other shows are just a step down.

I love All four shows, but did any of them ever have this?

Even Stanley Kubrick thought The Simpsons was the best show on TV. Sure it's not nearly as good as it once was, but you can't hold its current form against how truly great it was.

The Simpsons is the Wayne Gretzky of television. A decade of spectacular seasons, followed by mostly average/mediocre seasons; yet still it should be considered the best of all time.

Heck more often then not The Simpsons is better than the movies they spoof!

The Simpsons has to go top 4. It may be rubbish now, but during it's prime nothing came close to it.

I'm with you, I guess not enough people watched it. In my top 3 of all time. IMO it easily should have been a semi-finalist.

Just doing 2 divisions for now. Will keep voting open until the voting slows down or 48 hours.

Maybe move these to your original post (ie. edit it). Makes it easier to find.
This is a good concept, that feels a bit rushed.

Seems that most matchups have been decided as its not even close in votes. However their are a few matchups that are very close.

Voting will continue for about another 24 hours.

4 vote difference is the closest matchup right now. Couple hours left to vote.

Ouch, Lost vs. Heroes in the first round.

My votes:
Married With Children (it deserves someone voting for it)
Futurama
The Flintstones
Mad Men
Cheers
The X-Files
Freaks and Geeks (never actually seen it, so more of a vote against FG)
Deadwood
Breaking Bad
Frasier (same as MWC)
American Dad (toughest choice, but another show that deserves some recognition)
Lost
24
Faulty Towers (never seen Big Bang Theory)
Homeland

It sucks that Married With Children and Frasier will go out so early, when each were great, long running sitcoms. Meanwhile Game of Thrones has been on for all of 25 episodes, and The Walking Dead has only been on for 3 seasons now (and isn't that great honestly).

I agree, GoT would be better if it had a laugh track and/or was performed live in front of a studio audience.
